The "Others"

This section is a dedication to my other pets, cold blooded and warm who share my home with me.

Verde

Picture

This is Verde, quite literally the best thing to come into my life. Verde is a very special Vos Maeri Eclectus, and by special not only to me, but he is special needs also. Diagnosed with ABV, I try my best to keep Verde as happy and healthy as possible. I wouldn't trade him for the world.

Torricelli

Picture

This little cutie is Torricelli (Tori-Chelli). My first chahoua, but I doubt my last. Torricelli was somewhat of an impulse buy that was egged on by several good friends of mine, and I have to say I am glad they talked me into it. Torricelli is so soft, slow, calm, and freakishly cute!

Hathor

Picture

This beautiful face is Hathor, my old lady. I got Hathor in 2001 as just a wee thing and she has turned into a beautiful big "dinosaur"!

Snakey

Picture

Snakey....yes I know an unoriginal name, but in my defense I didn't name her. She is a northern garter snake. I found someone giving her away for free on craigslist, a man who caught her in his back yard with his daughters. He didn't want to rehome her, and his girls really did love the snake, but wifey had enough of having a pet snake in  the house. So after several long goodbyes by her "mommies", she came home to live with me as my first pet snake.

Rupert

Picture

Rupert was kind of an unexpected pet, but  don't mind the unexpected! Rupert is a hypo red tail boa, not to large right now, but give him time and he will be a gentle giant!

Jackson

Picture

This bright little gem is Jackson, a grey banded kingsnake. Jackson is so laid back and easy to handle he was whole heartily accepted into the "family"!

Bruce Lee

Picture

Yes my very own ninja! Bruce Lee was a rescue from a pet store who had him set up in a almost completely aquatic setup. After seeing him there for weeks, I could not stand to see him cling to the tony little rock they had for him. So now he has lots of terra firma to wander around on!

Hank

Picture

Hank, my rather cranky B.smithi, but ehh he is beautiful!

Owen

Picture

Owen....well Owen has turned out to a be a female, so she is mildly confused by her name. Sold to me as an A.metallica, not 100% sure on that. either way she is pretty calm for an avic.
